This is due to repacking applied at source tarball for DFSG-compliance, since some minifications (mainly distributed as .min.*) are currently considered non-dfsg-compliant on the Debian project. Please see debian/README.source. Cheers, Dererk -- BOFH excuse #188: ..disk or the processor is on fire.
