Looks good, thanks. I'll apply it for the next upload. However, in the process of checking your changes, I noticed that wnpp-check is a) using grep and b) not escaping regex metacharacters (like '+') in package names. I'm not sure if this was intended to allow pattern matching (in which case it isn't documented) or is an oversight. My guess is that it's the latter and this should be fixed (in general, not for your patch).
