Package: g++-mingw-w64-i686
Version: 4.9.1-19+14.3
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

sorry if this is the wrong package to report this bug. I have a regression in
jessie compared to wheezy. The following link line does not work anymore for me:

$ /usr/bin/i686-w64-mingw32-g++      -Wl,--whole-archive
CMakeFiles/countlevels.dir/objects.a -Wl,--no-whole-archive  -o countlevels.exe
-Wl,--out-implib,libcountlevels.dll.a
-Wl,--major-image-version,0,--minor-image-version,0  ../NDPRead.lib
.../NDPRead.lib: error adding symbols: File format not recognized
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

NDPRead.lib is a private lib, I cannot redistribute it. I suspect it has been
build with Visual Studio (which version I do not know).

It used to work just fine from wheezy.

For references:

$ objdump -h NDPRead.lib | head
In archive NDPRead.lib:

NDPRead.dll:     file format pe-i386
