Package: mps-youtube Version: 0.01.46-3 Severity: important
mps-yt is a very practical tool for vision-impaired or blind computer users in order to find and convert videos from the youtube platform. Unfortunately, because of a change in youtubes API, the version 0.01.46 ceases to function, completely, and displays the youtube "your client is not supported" video on all requests. There is a new upstream maintainer for the project who, due to reports in the projects forum, has already adapted the new API to mps-yt, so version 0.2.4 will work again. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.0.0-64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages mps-youtube depends on: ii mpv 1:0.7.1-dmo2 Free and open-source general-purpo ii python 2.7.9-1 interactive high-level object-orie ii python-pafy 0.3.62-1 Download videos and retrieve metad mps-youtube recommends no packages. mps-youtube suggests no packages. -- debconf-show failed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
