Hi. I haven't been working on gbirthday for a while, and all other devs have left the boat, I'm afraid. They don't use it anymore, AFAIK, and I only use the plain-text backend.
I guess we could remove evolution support (although this used to be the core of the software back when gbirthday was created). Either completely (code cleanup), or just as a quick and dirty fix by removing it from the list in the GUI. Me way also have to add code to remove this from user config file as well. Before doing so, I'd like to understand why python-evolution disappeared from Debian. I suppose it is not just a rename, but some code that is no longer maintained. Is this only Debian related, or common to all distros? Are there distros where the link to evolution works, in which case it would be a pity to remove it from gbirthday? You may want to open an issue upstream on SF so that other devs are notified. Thanks. -- Jérôme -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
