Package: nmap Version: 6.47-3+b1 Followup-For: Bug #501371 G'day.
Running a simple port scan, such as # nmap -sS <ipaddress> will produce the following output: Starting Nmap 6.47 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2015-04-11 23:10 EDT route_dst_generic: Failed to obtain system routes: getsysroutes_dnet: sysroutes_dnet_find_interfaces() failed This obviously isn't terribly helpful. Simply Googling the error turns up a similar issue OpenBSD, early 2013: http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.os.openbsd.misc/201878 Thanks, Chris -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.6 APT prefers stable APT policy: (700, 'stable'), (650, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: kfreebsd-amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: kFreeBSD 9.0-2-amd64 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages nmap depends on: ii libc0.1 2.19-17 ii libgcc1 1:4.9.2-10 ii liblinear1 1.8+dfsg-1 ii liblua5.2-0 5.2.3-1.1 ii libpcap0.8 1.3.0-1 ii libpcre3 2:8.35-3.3 ii libssl1.0.0 1.0.1e-2+deb7u12 ii libstdc++6 4.9.2-10 Versions of packages nmap recommends: ii ndiff 6.47-3 nmap suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
