To reproduce:

1. Log in to a MATE session.
2. Reboot the system with /sbin/reboot.
3. Log in to a MATE session again.

The menu at the top of the screen is missing.

Comparing my files with backups, .config/dconf/user was different. I restored it and the menu returned on next login.

This is the second time this has happened that I can remember, so at least somewhat reproducible.

I am sorry that I have to close another report of yours because I cannot reproduce it.

I have deployed MATE on various machines and have several users that use MATE. None of them ever reported such an issue.

Don't hesitate to report more issues when you encounter them. Provide as much information and tests that help us reproducing your reported issue.

Thanks for contributing to Debian with reports!
