Package: icedove Version: 24.8.1-1~deb7u1 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
I would like to have a year security support of the package in old-stable. Background: I use the package on many desktops, sometimes the configuration is complex (Kerberos, NFS4, LDAP, etc), so it's not possible for me to do an upgrade in a short time. For that reasan I would like it when I would have a year to do the upgrade. I don't care if the supported package is in main or in backports. When it's not possible to do so, I would like a diskussion about the "why". We could use the same package in oldstable as in stable.
