The opening of a new bug is fine, but you didn't do the other things that I asked in #245015, namely answer the questions that I asked in that bug log. I'd really appreciate it if you would answer those questions. Namely: * WHAT exactly fails? Please explain what error messages you got, or other unexpected behavior, and why this is a failure. * WHY does this patch fix the problem? If you're overriding KSRC anyway, why does it matter whether the old definition binds early or late? I closed the previous bug because I asked these questions and you never responded. I'd really like to understand what the problem is, but if you don't answer my questions, it's sort of hard for that to happen. I'm quite willing to believe that it's broken and this fixes it, but I need to understand how and why so that I can maintain the package in the future. wontfix is for bugs where I agree that the behavior is as described but don't plan on changing it for some reason. In this case, I'd be quite happy to fix the problem if I could understand it. -- Russ Allbery ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) <http://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
