Package: uim Version: 1:0.4.7-3 Severity: important I am using the Jabber client software "psi" version 0.9.3 with UIM version 0.4.7. My locale is fr_FR.UTF-8 (I want psi in french) and I am trying to write some hiragana in Psi. But I as soon as I type one key in hiragana mode, I get this error:

The upstream version 0.4.9.1 fixs the bug. I suggest packaging the new upstream version. This bug exists in both Debian unstable and Ubuntu because they both use the version 0.4.7 of UIM.
