This error is similar to #653395, #709309 and #730410, which seem to have been problems with the user's system rather than the package. Can you please try the following: - replicate the crash by running GnuCash with "gnucash --debug --log gnc=debug" and send the contents of /tmp/gnucash.trace - reinstall both gnucash and gnucash-common and see if the problem persists.
