Package: octave-common Version: 3.8.2-1 Severity: normal Since version 3.8.1, the octave-common package, which is arch:all, now includes /usr/share/octave/$VER/etc/config.log. This file is copied directly from the build tree and contains architecture- and system-specific details about the build environment.
This file should not be installed at all, and even more so that it's in an arch:all package but contains arch-specific details. I've reported this upstream at https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?43087, hopefully it will simply be removed from make install in a future version. Not sure of the proper severity. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental'), (1, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.14-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
