Holy!

From Debian popcon:

36 installations, 8 Votes.

Given that this is a module which is mainly used in _DEVELOPMENT_ and _SERVER_ setups (where admins usually don't install popcon on every box) this is an alarming number.

You can add 20 boxes to this number (for installed and voted) from our server farm here; libcdb-file-perl is one of the cornerstones of our web application.

Regarding the lack of updates - how complicated can a simple key->value in-file database interface be? If you check the changelog the last 10 releases were ports to newer perl versions and bugfixes - if there are no new perl versions or bugs, why release a new version?

Please don't let libcdb-file-perl become yet another perl-module that has to be installed via cpan because it's not packaged (anymore!).
