Ok, so we should try to co-ordinate my pull requests around 4.7 as well. The pull requests for the build scripts will make it easier to produce these new packages and keep them updated. If you decide to retrospectively certify 4.5 or 4.6 against PostgreSQL 9.4 then that could also work out OK for packaging - just send an update to this bug.
