Package: login Version: 1:4.2-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
Customizing a dynamic MOTD in /etc/update-motd.d does not work as expected. As a simple testcase, create a script there that simply runs "date". Upon login, the date of the *previous* login, not the current date, will get printed. This is the same problem as bug 757059 (now fixed) https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=757059 Please consider applying the same fix, i.e., move the "noupdate" from the first to the second call to pam_motd.so in debian/login.pam . -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
