Well Ari, I think I have been misunderstood. I can't remember I have said that I could paste this image into Gimp. In fact, I wasn't at all. I tried to disable klipper to see if it is not it's fault. When klipper was disabled, I couldn't paste into Gimp either. And what about my strace output? Isn't it helpful? Let me repeat - I capture my screen. I cannot paste it into Gimp. I can paste it into Kolourpaint. Accidentally, I cannot paste image captured while gwenview was running. Best regards, Robert
