Dear Maintainer,

I typed:
(gdb) target remote lac02.yarn.gatineau.credil.org:9979
lac02.yarn.gatineau.credil.org: unknown host
lac02.yarn.gatineau.credil.org:9979: No such file or directory.

but such a name does exist:
meech-[~] mcr 1009 %host lac02.yarn.gatineau.credil.org
lac02.yarn.gatineau.credil.org has IPv6 address 2001:4830:116e:1::148

it just doesn't have an A record, since, well.. that legacy v4 is no fun.

I worked around by finding the numerical v4 address and using that.
