Dear Peter, I tried to reproduce the bug, but didn't managed to do that. Could you give me some more information about your system?
I used the following configuration (as client): - jessie kFreeBSD running as a VirtualBox VM - syslog-ng 3.5.4.1-1 I swapped the server to openssl s_server, syslog-ng 3.6 and also a kFeeBSD, none of them produced the bug. After time_reopen() seconds, syslog-ng opened a new connection. Regards, Tibor
