Source: poppler
Version: 0.24.5-4
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

TeX ligatures are not rendered correctly in some files. I frequently download
papers that are hard to read because all the "ff", "fi" are missing, instead
just a blank is shown. An example:
<http://software.imdea.org/~aleks/papers/reflect/reflect.pdf>

I am reportiung this against poppler itself because the following viewers,
all using poppler, all share this issue:
okular, evince, katarakt, atril
While the following viewers do not use poppler and do not have the issue:
mupdf, imagemagick ("display"), gv

Interesting enough, when printing the file with Okular, the ligatures
are rendered correctly.

Kind regards
Ralf
