No, it is not.  The standard is that an exit status other than zero
indicates a failure, and this causes a calling shell script to stop (
VER=`mkfs.ntfs -V` ).  Every other utility in the world returns
STATUS_SUCCESS ( 0 ) when asked for its version since there was no
error or failure.

And please don't silently close bugs using the close command; use the
- -done address.
