"git fsck" checks for modes with leading zeroes but only warns about them instead of erroring out, which is good because grit used to write them. Luckily nobody writes modes with multiple leading zeroes. Please teach "git fsck" to check that to make sure that continues to be so, which should make life easier for people thinking of changing the on-disk pack format. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
