Your bug report makes no mention of the version of ez-ipupdate that
you installed. I am pretty sure that version 3.0.11b8-9 (which was
uploaded today) no longer has the bug. Could you please confirm that the
version you installed was 3.0.11b8-8.1?
The version I installed was the version from sarge, which according to
aptitude is 3.0.11b8-8.1.
Apologies, I had removed it by the time I thought of writing the bug
report, and hoped reportbug would do some magic ;)
Will the b8-9 version be in sarge? Is the only brokenness on purging not
removing /etc/ez-ipupdate/* ?
