Package: ibus-pinyin
Version: 1.4.0-2ubuntu2
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
There are two related problems:
1. Ctrl-Space causes the pinyin prompt to show up under the application
(top-level) window, not under the edit box.
2. Intermittently (and very often) the top half of the prompt is
displayed (showing typed ascii chars), and no bottom half is displayed
(that shows the numbered Mandarin character choices).
Both problems, for example, are nonexistent in zh-ibus-pinyin-1.4.0_3
package on FreeBSD. Over there the prompt is always complete and is
located right under the edit box (not under the application window).
I am on the latest Mint Cinnamon.
