Thanks Andreas for the initiative. I hope to get my NM process finished soon, so I should be able to help more. Is pkg-scicomp dead? I haven't been following it lately. I would definitely wait for Christophe (CCed) from pkg-scicomp to see what he thinks. But as far as I am concerned, I'll be happy for abinit to be maintained as part of any other group which is active.
