it gets "worse": yes, i had gdm3 as default-display-manager and got blank screen, earlier, though i have to see if the :0-greeter.log reports same issues as from tty launch via service gdm3 start.... HOWEVER, now that i successfully added CGROUPS into 3.12 and gdm3 worked fine, i rebooted to 3.11-1, ... and ... now gdm3 works! ????????????????????????????????????
