I think that submitting bug reports like this to the TC is a seriously
dysfunctional practice. Often it results from a submitter with an
inflated sense of the importance of the problem or a fundamental
misunderstanding of the purpose of bug systems provided by free
software projects.
So I think that ordinary bugs filed directly with the TC should be
summarily closed, rather than dignified with a response. (Next time I
close a bug like this I will archive it as well as closing it.)

In any case, if you _do_ think that such a bug report might lead to an
improvement in theh software, please be sure not to send messages like
this one to bugs assigned to the TC. That has the effect of sending
them to the TC list. I have reassigned this one, against my better
judgement - really, I should reassign and archive it.
