The str newsgroup/mailing list was excellent. I do hope it returns; its absence makes it very difficult to triage reported bugs in CUPS itself. It is sorely missed as a source of information on which to base advice and decisions. Also - what about cups.general? My last mail from it was on 20th April of this year. It too provided a source of sound information with many knowledgeable people posting there; CUPS would be all the poorer without it. Does its reappearence really require a security audit; especially one which has lasted this length of time?
