Seeing that LABEL and UUID are set, you should be able to use LABEL= and UUID= in your fstab instead of /dev/root. Check also /dev/disk/by-uuid and /dev/disk/by-label. Michael -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
