So we need to instrument pcscd to get more data.

Can you get the source code of pcsc-lite, edit the file src/hotplug_libudev.c 
and change the line 33 from:
#undef DEBUG_HOTPLUG
to
#define DEBUG_HOTPLUG

then rebuild pcsc-lite.

You do not need to install anything. Just execute the newly build pcscd as "./pcscd 
-df"
Then perform the 4 steps to repdoduce the problem and send me the pcscd logs.
