If you want to see this fix in stable, please contact the stable release team and try to get an ack for a stable upload. I personally don't consider this issue important enough tbh, to if you can get an ack, I'd be willing to prepare a stable upload. > or building a newer version of the 5.8.x series for Wheezy.
