Package: apcupsd
Version: 3.14.8-2
Severity: minor

Hi,

during system shutdown, ups-monitor gets calles from /etc/init.de/halt, and
calls apccontrol killpower.

In apccontrol, most stuff gets piped to /usr/bin/wall, but at the time it is
called, /usr might already have been unmounted, which yields an error message
prior to power off (it's only the error msg, the apccontrol call is executed
anyway.).

The fix is quite simple, remove the |$(WALL) from the killpower call in
apccontrol.

regards,
        Dietz
