Good point, I have to test group chat later today. I don't understand point 2), however. How can I miss old messages? You're either logged in to chat or you're not. If you are online, you get all the messages, if not they're delivered to your Facebook inbox where you can fetch them.

However, I would still be in favor of a removal due to the bug reports in the bug tracker combined with the fact that upstream has abandoned the project.
