Hi Vincent, Thanks for your review, and for spotting the issue. No, the the verbose build warnings on the initial invocation of dh_auto_clean do not cause the target to fail. My use of pdebuild rather than debuild hid the problem with overriding dh_auto_clean. This also caused the build warnings in the first place, regarding missing libraries in the initial, empty, fakeroot environment. Later in the build process, when build-deps have been installed and the package is actually built, no warnings are emitted and the package builds successfully. Therefore I have removed the override and re-uploaded the package.
