Hi Paul, Thanks for the suggestion, but compton provides many added features to xcompmgr as well as bug fixes and IMO has diverged too far from xcompmgr to make merging desirable or practical. For example, compton provides a dbus interface and regex matching of window attributes - features far outside the scope of xcompmgr as "a sample compositing manager for X servers". I've uploaded a new package based on the latest upstream snapshot. It can be found at: http://mentors.debian.net/package/compton It can also be downloaded using: dget -x http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/c/compton/compton_0.0.1+git-b3652f6-2013-03-03-1.dsc Initial release changelog: compton (0.0.1+git-b3652f6-2013-03-03-1) experimental; urgency=low * Imported Upstream version 0.0.1+git-b3652f6-2013-03-03 * Override dh_auto_clean to quiet verbose build warnings. * Initial release (Closes: #679551) -- Scott Leggett <sc...@sl.id.au> Sun, 10 Mar 2013 15:08:58 +1100 - -- Regards, Scott Leggett. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJRPBNRAAoJEHlzKPr+55fVRq4P/0Pl17N7e4neHZDVFJlUMu5R arh8eH083FBtChspFLNxte8x+i2mBny3N7x5a2hR+ZhoR7T+jI1LSv+WB47LQXiv XfF5m1J7CUeKHXdz2X6tQU256FQ8cm3yanbIIwcIozQKEX6+ytAnASJ7QS/YPley JgGrKHrLqHTcNa/e/qwNRqJnmJDGvZV1CNpCHSsjMqtA8sCqWK7gFZU/oZOux56N Ric1hAFMZzg5TY55uPWBOXLufq4Db/lF/3HS/vBWNzk6d1I1xzhHZBBboby3xZms DLd+jhM5mce55gsAZ08as3Y4bUs+6DFAVl5VUa0EjTPJiMniUoxGtby2DP0fodUP 6AOEQs21vbEC80+BmaA2Itx+WTXeuxYzNtszR1Cc4PWg7huq5lwS0bdJ5QNOj/V4 blGbc2OMorwBuP+t4Lrk6kxifI2H6KTuNhMGTPkRE3S/FEFVwQIHg+BlmekJmnab LMXqV0ZTv+TWWmNdTkP/P7EcA+6nuZDUoZMS2LNAYNxWGVV6dLK9/ZZDW5r3fMPZ yaXlutZAkxGfoNqBHh2PFawCZpOK9RrfbTfIBTSa/26COSXkzx4RMz8t7+IZKwPz lJgPweYZEJd0nHfHYMkztWJdW/oVi+2PwgYYXIK3UjHXqvlmfUdpzNji2yOlS710 OCCdXbMRcombWlUo6dhX =5IBy -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
