Hi Mike, in reply to your mail on 2005-Feb-06 (Sunday) 16:09: > tag 293874 + unreproducible > thanks > So, what is supposed to be the problem ? If you have all the fonts > required for these glyphes, there's no problem. I see no problem with > chinese, japanese, russian, arabic, etc. nor with the euro sign. > Try installing some other fonts. I installed some other fonts. The problem is that I use the Bitstream Vera (Sans/Serif/Mono) and whatever other fonts in both galeon AND firefox and I see the Euro sign in galeon but not in firefox, see: http://tud.at/~bs/bug/eurobug_firefox.png vs. http://tud.at/~bs/bug/eurobug_galeon.png and in the topology...alpha.php case all cirillic characters are there in galeon but some of them are missing in firefox: http://tud.at/~bs/bug/alpha_firefox.png vs. http://tud.at/~bs/bug/alpha_galeon.png If I would see no foreign text the problem would be easy: the bug is that I do not see SOME of them. Mike, try to understand there is a problem. I do not know what it is and I also do not have the knowhow to track it down myself alone - but be sure this is not a 'the dummy user forgot to install basic fonts' case. Thank you for your understanding and efforts, however. CU: Sandor > Mike > On Sun, Feb 06, 2005 at 03:41:48PM +0100, S.
