Please act on this bug very soon, or I will coordinate with Ubuntu and

This is Michael Pitt? Or someone else?

When a LUKS cryptsetup is uploaded, I would like to see it
replace cryptsetup. There's little point to having both, IMO.

At least reply to this bug and tell us what you think about adding LUKS
support, even if it is "no, I won't do it".

Michael Pitt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> was going to add LUKS support.
I haven't heard back from him in some time, however, so perhaps
he's not going to do it anymore.

I think LUKS support is the way to go, replacing the old package.

Are you using cryptsetup actively? Part of the reason I keep letting
the bug reports accumulate is so I can hit them all at once with a
reasonable amount of testing. I don't run it much anymore, so
unless I sit down to test it, it doesn't get tested.
