Same here, not long enough for me to notice.  But now on shutdown the line in 
the exit console "Stopping Network connection manager: wicd..." hangs for 10-15 
seconds, then it goes through the other lines I sent in the first message and 
then hangs permanently on "Deconfiguring network interfaces..."  The only thing 
I know at this point is purging laptop-mode-tools fixes it.
