Hello Torquil, Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to reproduce this problem using the same set of dependencies (or on other installations of tuxguitar I have). I'm wondering if the problem is related to the interaction between SWT and your X display driver. Would you be willing to try installing vuze temporarily just to see if you get the same display artifacts? Thank you, tony
