Doh, of course you're right.  Just blame on lack of caffeine.

Anyway, I installed the packages from unstable and confirmed the fix.
One thing though, maildir-utils and mu4e seem to be missing a versioned
dependency.  Installing only one or the other from unstable results in
error messages when starting mu4e about a mu server version discrepancy.

I use an APT::Default-Release of wheezy and did

  apt-get install mu4e/sid

but that did not pull in maildir-utils/sid for me.  Starting mu4e said
that the mu server was too old.  An

  apt-get install maildir-utils/sid

fixed that, but when I then tried

  apt-get install mu4e/wheezy

mu4e complained that the mu server was too new.  Looks like you need a

  Depends: maildir-utils (= 0.9.8.5)

The current Conflicts: doesn't do the job.
