Or maybe then create a git-instaweb package that depends on lighttpd and gitweb, then, as I tried git instaweb and got informed that lighttpd was required. It's the first time I see it mentioned, actually, so I'm dubious it is highly popular and people expect it installed out of the box from the git package :-/ Should I file another report for this ?
