Looks like just a problem with dependencies between tex-common and scalable-cyrfonts-tex.
I tried to apt-get remove tex-common, rm -rf /var/lib/texmf, and rm -rf /etc/texmf (update log said "Warning: Old configuration style found in /etc/texmf/updmap.d. For now these files have been included, but expect inconsistencies. These packages should be rebuild with tex-common.") Now apt-get install shows: # apt-get install tex-common scalable-cyrfonts-tex Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: tex-common : Breaks: scalable-cyrfonts-tex (<= 4.15) but 4.15 is to be installed E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. > (<= 4.15) but 4.15 is to be installed Less or equal. But. By the way, is this package unmaintainable? Or nobody uses LaTeX with cyrillic symbols maybe? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
