Hmmm the only two changelog entries I can see are: v1.17 has "Fix bug involving setting "pam.servicename"" v1.16 "Allow PAM tests to be disabled" and also Return immediate error if username/password is wrong in the common case, rather than delaying it for later. Helps avoid the case where socks-clients cache the wrong username/password. Reworked rule-checking code a little too. I can put together a v1.16 test package if that'd be useful.
