It turns out that since my system uses the es-AR locale, wicd uses the es_AR.po file instead of the es.po file to translate. The es.po file is fully translated, but the es_AR.po isn't, so some strings aren't translated. There are other Spanish locales which aren't fully translated, these are es_MX, es_CO, es_NI, es_CL, es_GT and es_VE.
