Hello Vincent -- Be happy to provide more information. Below is the
debug output. Notice there is a line about HAL not being available, so
suppose that may be the problem?

To reproduce the problem; simply plugin one's iPod, open Exaile and look
in Exaile's device manager dialogue; nothing shown, despite the iPod
shown as mounted in file manager. The iPod is also browesable through
the file manager.
