Hi Robert, Now I've manually mounted /dev/shm inserting an entry in the fstab, and in this way I can start jackd as normal user.
Is it normal that I have to mount shm through the fstab? There's a report from a user on LAU that can start jackd from normal user without having this entry (using debian etch). If this entry is compulsory, should not the jackd package insert it during installation, or at least mention it (for example: You will not be able to run jackd as normal user if you don't mount shm, or so). Thanks for the help! Best Regards, ~ Antonio -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
