I don't believe that this a bug in freerdp but only in remmina. If you run xfreerdp with the cliprdr plugin:
xfreerdp --plugin cliprdr <server> then the clipboard works correctly. remmina appears to be loading that plugin: grep cliprdr /proc/8389/maps 7fae695ef000-7fae695f2000 r-xp 00000000 08:02 14404318 /usr/lib/freerdp/cliprdr.so 7fae695f2000-7fae697f1000 ---p 00003000 08:02 14404318 /usr/lib/freerdp/cliprdr.so 7fae697f1000-7fae697f2000 rw-p 00002000 08:02 14404318 /usr/lib/freerdp/cliprdr.so but the clipboard doesn't work. I've looked at the source but can't figure out what's wrong. I'm pretty sure the bug should be assigned back to remmina.
