Did you use and see the underrun frames?
Might be bad tape. I once bought high quality DV tape for twice the
price of regular stuff and error rates really improved.

No. cascading rsbep should not help much.

Hmmm. THat's a bug. I have to fix that. Could you file a bug to remind

Hmmmmm. no idea. MAybe some overflow. Are you just using tar -t or
really tar -x ?
