Package: dvbackup
Version: 0.0.4rj1-5
Followup-For: Bug #289475

Hello,

I have not yet managed to get good results.

- I have tried setting buffers higher (8192), and results improve.
- rsbepC finds unrecoverable errors when decoding.
- I tried to cascade rsbepC twice (to introdude more redundancy, if
possible). But rsbepC is not fast enough on my computer to decode it
  in real time.
- rsbep (assembler version) is not included in the package.
- Compiling a rsbep from source allowed me to decode most of the backup.
- At the end, an unrecoverable *tar* error happened.
- I will investigate further.

Yours,

Antonio Fiol
