Package: mysql-server Version: 4.0.22-6 Severity: important Tags: experimental
Yesterday I did a routine upgrade on my debian sarge system that runs nagios-mysql. After the upgrade the web interface said that nagios was not running. Nagios was actually running, but it could not update the tables nagios.programstatus. Said so in the log. I removed and recreated the database, and restored the database as well, but none of it helped. After some experimenting (downgrading nagios-mysql to last known good version) I downgraded to 4.0.22-6 and everything works (with te latest nagios package). logs: Error: Could not insert/update status record for program in table 'programstatus' of database 'nagios' As lon as this error persisted my select * queries on the programstatus and servicestatus tables returned nothing. I had no errors logged in nagios about the servicestatus table. I am not sure which package is responsible for this behaviour.
