Package: gnome-desktop-environment Version: 63 Severity: normal After logging in from GDM GNOME complains that it can't look up my computer's hostname. I've got two computers connected to a DSL modem with a router (includes DHCP & DNS). When it is off, everything works. When I have connected to the internet everything works. If I plug out the DSL cable the described behaviour occurs. As far as I could track it down it may have to do with X authorization. However, the problem did not occur, when I used KDE before.
